BF in Office

Thanks for taking the time to see where I walk each day.

To be honest it's no great chore, it's such a pleasant walk, as you'll see when you look at the pictures below.

I've also included a map of my location, so you can see where in the world I live, and some links to general information about the canal, if you're interested in some of the local history.

The map below shows where I live, the middle house almost directly to the right of the

minus sign of the zoom graphic, in the top left corner.

My walk begins from my house, down Greenfield Close and Five Locks Close. Then

across the main road and down the path going towards the bottom of the map,

towards the Terms of Use

Picture 1 is from start of the path looking down the map.

the Starting Point
This is my starting point looking down the the slope along side the old locks. It's quite a good finishing point with the uphill being quite energy sapping when walked at a brisk pace.

Moorings I sometimes walk north up the canal, on the other side of the road. This is the moorings and harbour, with the old lock keepers cottage, where in the summer the canal boats moor up and quite often have BBQ's, jazz and rides for the kids

Well I hope you enjoyed my route, it's where I walk every morning for my 20 minutes exercise.
